style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif\"><b>El presidente de Venezuela, Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, felicit\u00f3 a Fidel y a Ra\u00fal Castro por el acercamiento entre Cuba y Estados Unidos, e indic\u00f3 que \u201cla Patria Grande cambi\u00f3 para siempre\u201d en un texto publicado en medios cubanos este viernes.<\/b><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif\">\u00abMucho m\u00e1s que una buena nueva, es la posibilidad cierta de que Estados Unidos reconozca el derecho sagrado que tiene Cuba a existir libre y soberanamente\u00bb, dijo Maduro en su carta a Ra\u00fal, sobre la hist\u00f3rica reconciliaci\u00f3n entre Washington y La Habana anunciada el 17 de diciembre.<\/span><br \/><a name='more'><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif\">\u00abSin embargo, pienso que este es un paso important\u00edsimo para que Estados Unidos entienda que aqu\u00ed, en nuestra tierra, hay un cambio de \u00e9poca, que la Patria Grande cambi\u00f3 para siempre y que no va a retrogradar\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif\">Los presidentes Barack Obama y Ra\u00fal Castro sorprendieron al mundo al anunciar que restablecer\u00e1n relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas, rotas en 1961.  \u00abA\u00fan hay mucho camino por recorrer para lograr que Washington reconozca que ya no somos su patio trasero, para que finalice el criminal bloqueo\u00bb sobre la isla, vigente desde 1962, indic\u00f3 Maduro en su misiva a Ra\u00fal Castro.<br \/>En contexto<br \/>El presidente de Estados Unidos (EE.UU.), Barack Obama, reconoci\u00f3 el fracaso del bloqueo econ\u00f3mico y comercial que por m\u00e1s de 55 a\u00f1os sostuvo su pa\u00eds contra Cuba y afirm\u00f3 que \u00aba partir de este momento vamos a empezar a normalizar las relaciones\u00bb con el pa\u00eds caribe\u00f1o. <br \/>En declaraciones ofrecidas desde Washington (capital), el jefe de Estado estadounidense dijo que \u00aben estos 50 a\u00f1os (de bloqueo) se ha demostrado que el aislamiento no funciona\u00bb y que \u00abhoy comienza un nuevo cap\u00edtulo en nuestra relaci\u00f3n con Cuba\u00bb.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:
